Akay Hotel, Selçuk
Situated behind a high stone-wall in a narrow street of Old Selçuk, Akay Hotel is a small paradise with a touch of luxury. Akay has also an older building with more basic and cheaper rooms, but it is worth to spend a bit more in order to have a balcony or veranda with view on the pool which is just a few metres from your room.
Old town of Selçuk with famous Isa Bey Mosque and St John's church, one of the best museums in whole Turkey and - best of all - Ephesus ruins is a perl full of genuine Turkish atmosphere, just a 15 minute-ride from crowded Kuşadası.
Enjoy your breakfast on the wonderful roof-terrace which has also one of the best restaurants in Selçuk, with reasonable prices.
